My collection is concentrated on four countries: Colombia, China, Italy and India.

Colombia

1 Peso Colombiano 1888 (Colombia)

Title: Banco Nacional De La Republica de Colombia Pagará al Portador
  un Peso de Moneda Corriente.

Details: One of the most issued bills at that time, such high amount forced the Bank to issue these bills using Greek alphabet letters as serial. The color of the bills are taken from a specie of bird native of the "Departamento of Cundinamarca".
Front Bill: Coat of Arms of Colombia, Simon Bolivar, Three signatures: Director 1°/Director 2° General Director (Director Gerente)
Back Bill: Decorated denomination of the Bill with the Title of the Bank and the signature of the Cashier (Cajero), two floreal representations on both sides of the signature with one having the initials of the Bank (BN).

Details: This bill would be used in the later years by " El Banco de La Republica" as an overprint for the Peso Plata Issue, making this emission on bills even more valuable for collectors.
Front Bill: Jose Maria Cordoba, Condor Andino (Vultur Gryphus), signatures of "Los Miembros de la Junta de Conversion".
Back Bill: Shield of Arms of Colombia.

Details: One of the first modern bills used by "El Banco" representing two major figuers of the Colombian History in the same face of the Banknote.
Some of these banknotes carrying the Serial "F" are considered very rare among the collectionists since it was used to end the emission of this bill, and very few were made.

Detail: Its one of the fewest bills representing the famous bridge close to Bogota where Colombia fought and won Indipendece, as well a statue of el Libertador Bolivar which can be found in La Quaira (Venezuela).

Detail: This bill was the first bill ever produced by "El Banco" Itself, previously this job would be done by either Waterlow, Thomas De La Rue, or American Banknote Company.

2 Pesos Colombianos 1977

Details: This baknote shows for the first time "Policarpa Salavarrieta" famous for being a spy for the Revolutionary forces during the Spanish Reconquista. She is now considered in Colombia as heroine of the Indipendence. Also this is one of the banknotes commemorating pre-colombian figures, in this case the banknote shows a famous figure called "Balsa wood raft of Muisca", which is said to be connected with the famous El Dorado (This figure is now Exposed at El Museo Del Oro in Bogota, and it has never left the country).

Info:  On the front we have José Maria Córdova, the General of the Revolutionary army that fought under Simón Bolivar during the independece of Colombia and Perú.
In the back third and last representation of the banks of "Banco De La Republica" in this case the main Bank in Bogotá.

5 Pesos Colombianos (Colombia) 1980

Info: The last 5 Pesos banknote by "El Banco" which stop producing them in 1981 due to the low denomination.
In the back we have the fortress of Cartagena de Indias. This Fortress "Castillo San Felipe De Barajas" was built by the Spanish in order to protect from attacks from the sea by British Pirates, Dutch and French. Even the city possesed such structure it was raided serveral times until the Spanish crown decided to hire professional military engeneers to make the fortress impossible to invade, up to today the modifications made by these engeneers characterize the fortress (It is along with the Historical Center part of the UNESCO)
